Brad Pitt Will Spend Thanksgiving With Angelina Jolie’s Children Except This Kid
Brad Pitt will be spending thanksgiving with Angelina Jolie’s children.
Ever since Pitt and Jolie split, the couple got embroiled in a custody battle over their six children. According to a new report, the “Ad Astra” actor is getting the custody of his children — Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 11 — for Thanksgiving.
Pitt will be spending the holiday with his five children. However, the process might not be easy, with Pitt fearing that his ex-wife might not let go of their kids.
“Brad was afraid Angie would keep the kids with her, but she let them go home, which is huge considering how nasty this divorce and custody battle got. Brad’s thrilled and sees this as a big breakthrough for him and the kids,” a source said.
Jolie has reportedly not made it easy for their children to have a positive relationship with their father. Pitt and Jolie’s eldest son Maddox, 18, is still not in a good relationship with the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” actor since their altercation inside the plane years ago. So, Maddox will not be joining his siblings in spending Thanksgiving with Pitt.
“But Brad has done a lot of work on himself the last few years. He’s proven he’s a new man and that he will be a better father. So when Angie asked the kids how they felt about spending Thanksgiving with their father, they were open to it,” the source continued.
Pitt and Jolie had a nasty divorce and split. In fact, it came to a point when they stopped talking and only contacted each other through a third party. However, in March 2017, things went better and they reportedly started talking again.
The therapist of Pitt and Jolie’s kids recommended that they talk to each other directly and both agreed for the best interest of their kids. In an interview during the premiere of Jolie’s movie “First They Killed My Mother,” she gave a positive response when asked if she still considers Pitt a “wonderful father.” The “Changeling” star added that they will always be a family.
