Britney Spears Reveals Donatella Versace Is Working On Her Wedding Gown

Britney Spears has announced a new detail about her upcoming wedding to Sam Asghari. In an Instagram post Tuesday, the “Lucky” singer shared a slideshow of photos of a pink ball gown, revealing that her wedding gown is being made by Donatella Versace.

“No… this is not my wedding dress,” she wrote. “Bahahaha!!! Donatella Versace is making my dress as we speak. Have a good night folks,” she added, confirming that their wedding plans are well underway.

The photo earned messages of support in the comments section from fans and friends of the singer, including rapper Iggy Azalea, who posted, “Icon behavior!”

“Britney and Donatella are a super duo OMG,” one fan wrote. “You look like a princess. Can’t wait to see your Versace wedding dress!” commented another fan.

This isn’t the first time the singer has posted something about her upcoming wedding. Last month, Spears took to TikTok to ask fans for some wedding advice as she and Asghari were considering where they should get married. In the post, the singer revealed they have been debating between tying the knot in Italy, Greece or Australia.

Spears and Asghari confirmed their engagement in September, with Spears sharing a clip showing off her engagement ring alongside the announcement. The pair began dating after they met in October 2016 on the set of Spears’ “Slumber Party” music video, where the Iranian-American actor played her love interest.

Ahead of their engagement, a source told ET that Spears and Asghari had been together for almost five years and were ready to get engaged. “Britney and Sam are an end-game couple. But for them, it’s all about timing,” the source said. “All of their dreams for their relationship have been on pause due to the conservatorship. They haven’t been able to progress like a normal, adult couple. It’s like dating in high school. That’s been their experience for the last two years or so,” added the source.

The source also said the pair are “ready to embrace the next chapter” and “love each other without limits or without feeling like they are on a leash.”
