Caitlyn Jenner Attends NYC Pride Event, Makes It 'Rain' Money During Candis Cayne Performance
Caitlyn Jenner finally made her big public appearance debut during Sunday’s Pride event in New York City, held at the Dream Downtown Hotel’s rooftop lounge. Jenner even rained money on Candis Cayne during the actress’ “I Am A Woman” performance.
The reality star had a big smile on her face when she joined the Jared Needle and Voss Productions party. According to E!News, Jenner received a huge and warm welcome when she came to check out Candis Cayne’s performance with six girlfriends. One of the party guests told E! that the crowd was cheering for the former Olympian and calling her name: "Everyone started chanting, 'Caitlyn, Caitlyn', she got up and waved and smiled at everyone."
Jenner’s entrance was captured on Voss Productions’ Instagram account, reports People, which featured the star looking chic in a sheer white peplum dress, with her hair in perfectly coifed curls. Voss captioned the photo, “Looking gorgeous at our pride finale! #CaitlynJenner #CandisCayne #VossEvents #LoveWins.” While another snap shows Jenner seemingly taking a selfie with the crowd as a backdrop, captioned, “#CaitlynJenner watching @CandisCayne at our annual Pride Party! Yeah we're kinda major... #VossEvents.”
Actress Candis Cayne, who also attended the event, performed and dedicated the song “I Am A Woman” to Jenner, states Us Weekly. The reality star even made it "rain" money all over Cayne while the party guests danced on the tables. An onlooker also told Us Weekly that Jenner was dancing with her friends during the party and was even “flipping her hair.” Another source also shared that Jenner was laughing and chatting with everyone and enjoying the crowd’s warm welcome. "Caitlyn was blushing and waving. She looked very touched,” said the source.
Jenner debuted as Caitlyn on the cover of Vanity Fair in early June. The 65-year-old star is also currently filming her reality series “I am Cait,” scheduled to premiere on July 26 on E!
