Camilla Parker Bowles’ Son Praises Meghan Markle: ‘She’s Wonderful’
Camilla Parker Bowles’ son Tom thinks Meghan Markle is wonderful.
The Duchess of Cornwall’s son appeared on ITV’s “Good Morning Britain.” During his guesting, Tom was asked about his opinion on the former "Suits" star.
“I think she’s wonderful,” Tom responded.
Camilla’s son was pressed further if he had any advice to the Duchess of Sussex. Tom didn’t offer any advice because he felt that Markle knew what she was doing.
“How could I give advice about that?” Tom said. “I think she should carry on what she's doing.”
In the same interview, Tom also shared an unusual Christmas lunch tradition in their family. According to him, their menu doesn’t include Turkey. Personally, he prefers beef. He added that he is also the family cook and he never served them turkey.
Just like Tom, his mom seems to find Markle wonderful. The Duchess of Sussex and Duchess of Cornwall were seen several times holding hands or laughing.
Back in May, both attended Prince Charles’ 70th birthday patronage celebration. It was Markle’s first official engagement as a royal. She arrived with Prince Harry. After their arrival, the couple was seen greeting Camilla.
In a video clip, the two duchesses were caught holding hands, which set the netizens into a frenzy. Many were happy to see that the two get along with each other so well.
Meanwhile, body language expert Judi James found Camilla and Markle’s affection clumsy but genuine. According to James, the pair performed an elongated touch that close relatives do to single themselves out from just mere social acquaintances.
James also noted how Camilla went for the usual polite touch while Markle opted for tactile warmth with extra small grasp. The body language expert added that hand-holding is not a sign of affection all the time but stressed that it’s a “genuine” bonding for the royals.
While Markle and Camilla’s relationship is fine, there are rumors that she is feuding with her sister-in-law Kate Middleton. According to an insider, the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex’s ghastly row began last year when Prince William and Middleton invited Prince Harry and Markle for Christmas at Prince Charles’ request.
Despite the rumored rift, the royals are expected to spend the holidays together with Queen Elizabeth II. All the members of the Firm will be in Sandringham to celebrate the season.
