Camilla Parker Bowles and Princess Eugenie didn’t make it to Queen Elizabeth II’s annual Christmas lunch.

The royals reunited to celebrate the season by attending Her Majesty’s annual Christmas lunch in Buckingham Palace. Unfortunately, not everyone was present.

According to Carly Read, a journalist for Express, the Duchess of Cornwall was absent due to a “heavy cold.” Camilla also canceled her appearance at the Olympia Horse Show that evening.

Camilla was noticeably missing when Prince Charles arrived for the coveted event. Aside from the duchess, Princess Eugenie was also a no-show at the event.

According to Read, Princess Eugenie was also absent for health reasons, her husband, Jacks Brooksbank was sick. It could have been Brooksbank’s first time to join the royals’ festivities with the Queen and the rest of the members of the Firm.

Although Princess Eugenie missed the event, her sister Princess Beatrice was present. Princess Beatrice arrived in a chauffeur-driven Range Rover.

Express.co.uk contacted the Buckingham Palace for the guest list of the "private lunch" but they declined to comment.

The gathering comes after Princess Eugenie was photographed at the charity film premiere of “Sharkwater Extinction” at the Curzon Cinema in Soho central London last night. At the event, Princess Eugenie looked stunning in a black dress and red satin coat that matched her dazzling ruby engagement ring.

Although a number was missing, most of the senior royals made it to the Christmas lunch. Prince William and Kate Middleton arrived in the same vehicle with their two children, 5-year-old Prince George and 3-year-old Princess Charlotte. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge didn’t bring their youngest son 7-month-old Prince Louis.

Prince Harry and his pregnant wife, Meghan Markle, were also present. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were photographed riding the same car as Prince William and his family.

Middleton and Markle were both photographed in good spirits amid their rumored rift. The Duchess of Cambridge wore pink for the event. On the other hand, Markle wore black.

Queen Elizabeth II hosts the annual event to spend time with all the members of the royal family especially those who will not be joining her on Christmas at her Norfolk estate.

Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince William, Middleton, Prince Harry and Markle are expected to join the monarch in Sandringham for Christmas. The family usually spends their holidays there.
