Carole Middleton looked after Prince William and Kate Middleton’s kids while the couple attended a reception.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stepped out on Wednesday to attend the Queen’s annual Diplomatic Corps Reception at Buckingham Palace. According to Hello! Magazine, the royal couple enjoyed the night because Middleton’s mother was at home looking after three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Carole was spotted leaving Kensington Palace on Wednesday evening. She was wearing a camel coat and drop earrings with her hair tied up. She was driving herself out of the palace. It was believed that by the time Carole was photographed leaving, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had already arrived home.

Carole is a very hands-on grandmother to Prince William and Middleton’s kids. In fact, when the couple made an official visit to Pakistan in October, it was believed that Carole was also the one who looked after their children.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge usually left their kids at the care of Middleton’s parents. In fact, Carole and Michael were with the royal family when they visited Mustique for holidays last year.

Prince William and Middleton were seen enjoying a wild night out in the island. The couple was spotted at the famous Basil’s Bar attending a party with a Splash of Gold theme. Later that evening, the future king and queen were photographed dancing. According to sources, the couple was able to do it because Carole and Michael looked after their children.

According to Marcia Moody in her book “Kate: The Biography,” Carole was a “natural mother.” Shortly after welcoming her firstborn, Middleton, she quickly established a routine with regular eating and sleeping times. Meanwhile, George Brown, described the duchess a “good baby.”

In the book “Kate: The Future Queen,” Katie Nicholl described how dedicated Carole was as a mother. According to the author, Carole gave up the career she loved because she knew that “globe-trotting, working shifts and spending days and nights abroad were not conducive to raising a family.”

Carole was a flight attendant and Michael was a flight dispatcher when they started their family. Middleton’s parent met at the British Airways.
