Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz fueled romance speculation when they were spotted getting close while on a bike ride in New York City this week.
Months after sparking and dispelling dating rumors, Tatum, 41, and Kravitz, 32, were photographed going on a stroll together in the East Village Wednesday. In photos obtained by Page Six, the two appeared to be enjoying each other's company as they shared a few laughs.
They were also seen going on a joint bike ride. The "21 Jump Street" star was pictured at the helm of his black BMX bike, with the "High Fidelity" actress wrapping her arms around his shoulders while riding on the bike's peg.
Both were dressed in casual attire for the outing, sporting black tops and jeans. Kravitz accessorized with a large green tote bag and black sunglasses.
An unnamed source told E! News that Tatum and Kravitz's friendship had blossomed into something more as they worked together.
"There's more than a friendship going on with Channing and Zoe," the insider told the outlet. "They are spending a lot of time together and having fun. They are more than just close friends or co-stars. Their relationship has grown into more."
The pair met on the set of the thriller "Pussy Island," which marks Kravitz's directorial debut. The film focuses on a Los Angeles cocktail waitress named Frida who has her eye on Tatum's philanthropist and tech mogul character, Slater King.
Tatum and Kravitz gushed about each other during a June interview with Deadline about the project.
"Chan was my first choice, the one I thought of when I wrote this character," Kravitz said about casting Tatum. "I just knew from 'Magic Mike' and his live shows, I got the sense he's a true feminist and I wanted to collaborate with someone who was clearly interested in exploring this subject matter."
"When Zoë called me about this, I was shocked," the "Step Up" star said. "I didn't know her. I'd watched her in movies, knew she produced 'High Fidelity' and had seen that, but I didn't know she was creating on a level like this, where she wanted to direct. This came out of nowhere and the subject matter made me say, wait, 'Why are you thinking about me for this?'"
Tatum said no one else has given him the opportunity to "play a role like this." He added that the role was both "scary and liberating" and allowed him to "mess up and say the wrong things."
Tatum was previously married to actress Jenna Dewan for 10 years before they divorced in 2019. They share an 8-year-old daughter, Everly.
Meanwhile, Kravitz filed for divorce from her actor husband Karl Glusman in December 2020 after less than two years of marriage.
