‘A Christmas Tree Grows In Colorado’ Hallmark Movie Premiere: Trailer, Synopsis, Cast

The holiday season is set to continue on Hallmark with the newest premiere of a week of holiday films. The newest “Countdown to Christmas” title is “A Christmas Tree Grows in Colorado,” stars Rochelle Aytes and Mark Taylor.

Aytes will be a new face to Hallmarkies, as this is her first film for the network. Previously, she held roles on a number of television shows, including “S.W.A.T.,” “The Purge,” “Mistresses” and “Criminal Minds.” Taylor might be recognizable from his previous role in Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ “Memories of Christmas,” though he has previously also starred in BET’s “Christmas Belles” and Lifetime’s “Tempted By Danger.” This will be his first film on Hallmark Channel.

So what will happen in this pair’s first Hallmark film together? According to a synopsis, dedication to getting everything needed for a holiday celebration could lead to love.

“Erin (Aytes) is planning the town’s Christmas celebration and must win over firefighter Kevin (Taylor) in order to obtain the beautiful spruce tree on his property for the celebration,” the synopsis reads.

However, as she grows closer to Kevin in the hopes of getting the tree she needs, she could wind up finding something else instead—a romance and some Christmas love for herself.

“A Christmas Tree Grows in Colorado” premieres Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 8 p.m. EST on Hallmark.
