Singer Natalie Imbruglia has opened up about her ex-boyfriend David Schwimmer's crush on his former "Friends" co-star Jennifer Aniston.
During "Friends: The Reunion" last month, the 54-year-old actor admitted that he had a "major crush" on Aniston, 52.
Appearing on KIIS FM's "Kyle and Jackie O Show" on Thursday, Schwimmer's ex-girlfriend reacted to the actor’s admission about having feelings for Aniston. She also talked about whether the crush overlapped with the time she and Schwimmer were seeing each other in the 1990s.
"Were you wondering if there was a crossover?" Imbruglia, 46, said after host Kyle Sandilands asked her about the same. "I thought that too," Imbruglia added. "No, I'm joking."
When the host went on to ask what seasons of "Friends" they were dating, the singer replied: "It was such a long time ago, I don't remember."
However, she recalled visiting the "Friends" set and said that everybody was "being lovely and really, really nice."
"I wasn't paying attention to whether they were giving each other 'little looks' over my shoulder," she said. "I don't know if that was happening. I'm okay with whatever happened back then. It was a long time ago."
During the reunion of the popular sitcom, Schwimmer noted that it was the "first season, I had a major crush on Jen. At some point, we were crushing hard on each other."
"It was like two ships passing," he said at the time, adding: "Because one of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary. We respected that."
Aniston had also commented about the same during the reunion, saying: "Honestly, I remember saying one time to David, 'It's going to be such a bummer if the first time you and I actually kiss is going to be on national television.' Sure enough, the first time we kissed was in that coffee shop."
Aniston will be next seen in the second season of "The Morning Show," which is slated to drop its first episode on Sept. 17, this year. She will also work in Sophie Goodhart's directorial untitled project.
Schwimmer was last seen in the "Intelligence" television series, which dropped on June 8. The sitcom is streaming on Peacock TV.
Imbruglia recently announced her new music track, "Build It Better," from her upcoming album, "Firebird." The song is slated to release on Sept. 24 this year.
