Olympic ice dancer Meryl Davis is now engaged. The “Dancing With The Stars” Season 18 winner has revealed on social media that she is now set to marry her longtime boyfriend Fedor Andreev.

On Monday, Davis took to Instagram to share a photo of her hugging Andreev while her engagement ring is on full display. The lovers are wearing caps, but Davis’ smile is visible in the snap. The gold medalist did not reveal more details about their engagement save for the fact that she said yes to Andreev’s question on July 13 based on her “7/13/17” caption.

Many congratulatory messages poured in right away. “Congratulations [Meryl Davis] and your future husband. Beautiful ring. So happy for the both of you,” one wrote. “Congratulations Meryl & Fedor! May your future together be filled with love, laughter & endless adventures,” another commented.

Davis’ engagement announcement comes more than a week after she and Andreev celebrated Fourth of July together. The 30-year-old “DWTS” alum even took to Instagram at the time to upload a photo of her waving the American flag while she and Andreev were motioning to kiss their pet dog Bilbo at the same time.

It also comes just a week after Davis reunited with longtime ice dancing partner Charlie White in San Francisco. The pair apparently attended a Visa-sponsored event there to talk about “all things Olympics.”

Ever since Davis joined ABC’s reality ballroom dancing competition, she’s been gaining a lot of public interest. During the competition in 2014, several media outlets have linked her to her pro dance partner Maks Chmerkovskiy and even to White, who was also part of the show back then.

However, it was later on revealed that Davis has already been steadily dating Andreev, the son of her longtime coach, Marina Zoueva. The two have been dating for more than six years prior to getting engaged, as per Us Weekly.

Davis and White won gold for ice dancing at the 2014 Olympics. Unfortunately, Davis has decided to skip the 2018 Winter Games in South Korea. According to her, she wants to focus more on her personal life for the time being, and this obviously includes her wedding with Andreev in the near future.
