‘Eight Gifts Of Hanukkah’ Hallmark Movie Premiere: Cast, Trailer, Synopsis

Hallmark Channel’s very merry holiday season continues with the newest “Countdown to Christmas” holiday premiere, which will take a peek at another big holiday for the season. The film, “Eight Gifts of Hanukkah,” stars Inbar Lavi and Jake Epstein, and will premiere on Friday night.

Fans will be intrigued by Lavi, who is making her debut on the network for the first time but has starred in a series of television series prior. Among her most notable roles have been Sheba on “Prison Break,” Maddie on “Imposters” and Eve on “Lucifer.”

As for Epstein, he is a face that may be familiar to fans. While his career started as a teen and he became notable for his role on “Degrassi: The Next Generation,” he is also well-known for roles on the television shows “Designated Survivor” and “Suits.” In addition, he has starred in several holiday movies on Lifetime, including “A Storybook Christmas,” “Mistletoe & Menorahs” and “A Christmas Village Romance.”

“On the first night of Hanukkah, optometrist Sara Levin (Lavi) receives a gift from an anonymous suitor. The note offers clues to the giver’s identity and suggests that the coming week will reveal whether their relationship will bloom in time to celebrate the eighth night of Hanukkah together,” a synopsis reads. “Recently having re-entered the dating world, Sara must figure out which of her last few online and real-life dates is her admirer.”

However, as Sara tries to figure out who her mystery suitor is, she is left with more questions, which forces her to play by the rules and get clever. However, in the end, she will find out that the person behind her new fortune is someone she never expected.

“While planning the Hanukkah fundraiser ball, lighting the menorah, making latkes and spinning the dreidel, Sara discovers that her one true love could be someone she never expected,” the synopsis states.

“Eight Gifts of Hanukkah” airs Friday at 8 p.m. EST on Hallmark Channel.
