Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haack's "Flip or Flop" will end next week after running for 10 seasons.

El Moussa and Haack's TV series will be coming to an end after almost a decade. An insider said the show became "too intimate" for the exes, and it was time to close that chapter.

"Tarek and Christina are generally cordial. They're co-parenting and nothing gets in the way of that," an unnamed source told People. "The show was just too intimate of a setting at this point, and it was time to close that chapter."

The HGTV stars, who were previously married, continued with the show despite splitting in 2016 and finalizing their divorce in 2018. Last year, they made headlines due to a disagreement on set. Both announced the show's ending on their respective Instagram accounts.

Haack shared a snap with the crew on Instagram. She accompanied it with a lengthy caption, thanking everyone involved in the show.

"Bittersweet news to announce, it's the end of an era. Next week's episode of 'Flip or Flop' will be the SERIES finale," she wrote in the caption. "I'm filled with gratitude to have done 10 seasons of a hit show. I remember filming the pilot and thinking, 'wouldn't this be crazy if is this actually made it to network tv?' And here we are, a decade later."

The "Christina: Stronger by Design" star thanked everyone who watched the show throughout the years. According to the reality star, she was beyond grateful for her fans' support. She also acknowledged the "amazing crew who worked so hard to make this show possible."

"It's been a wild ride, to say the least!!" she added. "I'm excited to see what the next 10 years have in store and can't wait to share what I've been working on behind the scenes. Stay tuned."

El Moussa also shared a snap of him from the "Flip or Flop" set on his Instagram account. The reality show announced the airing of a new episode and recounted some of the memorable things that fans witnessed in his journey with the show.

"New 'Flip or Flop' episode airs tonight! And with just two episodes left, the end of this season is a bit more bittersweet… after an incredible 10-year run, 'Flip or Flop' is coming to an end. This show would not have been possible without all of you following along, so THANK YOU!" El Moussa stated.

The real estate broker mentioned how fans witnessed him beat cancer, watch his babies grow up and everything in between. El Moussa shares two children with Haack — daughter Taylor, 11, and son Brayden, 6. Haack also shares a 2-year-old son, Hudson, with her second ex-husband, Ant Anstead.

He teased fans that he was not going away and "you are going to love what comes next!" He also ended his post by asking fans about their favorite "Flip or Flop" moments.

"So proud of you my love!! legend," El Moussa's wife, Heather Rae Young, commented.

Several netizens were sad that the current "Flip or Flop" season would be the show's last. Some hoped that El Moussa could return with a new show with Young.
