Former New Englan Patriot's fullback, Mosi Tatupu, who was one of the most popular players of his era, died Tuesday at age 54 from unknown reasons, the Honolulu Star Bulletin reported.

Tatupu played with the Patriots from 1978 to 1990. He suffered from high blood pressure and other ailments, the bulletin reported.
