It will be a day of danger and intimidation for the residents of Port Charles as they grow tired of being manipulated by a common enemy. On the Friday, July 6 episode of “General Hospital,” Michael strategizes with Chase and Jordan, while Nelle is issued a warning.

In the promo for the ABC soap opera, Chase (Josh Swickard) tells Michael (Chad Duell) he and Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) have a plan that involves potential risks for the father-to-be. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Michael offers a solution.

Michael has been trying to gain Nelle’s trust and seems to have done so by asking her to be his wife. He previously told Jason (Steve Burton) that he was confident Nelle would begin to make mistakes once she got comfortable around him.

Michael feels guilty and believes he is the reason why Carly (Laura Wright) is in Ferncliff, since he allowed Nelle into his life. Determined to free his mother and bring down the woman who came close to tearing his family apart, Michael seems willing to do whatever it takes to expose Nelle for who she really is.

Will Michael figure out a safe way to follow Chase’s plan or will he sacrifice his own life in order to make things right for his mother?

Elsewhere in the ABC promo video, Ava (Maura West) tells Nelle she will defend herself by whatever means necessary. “GH” spoilers reveal Nelle’s appointment is delayed. When Nelle’s scheduled plans are disrupted, she ends up chatting with Ava, who seems adamant that Nelle keeps her mouth shut.

Nelle has been blackmailing Ava after learning Griffin (Matt Cohen) ran an unauthorized DNA test on Peter (Wes Ramsey) and discovered he was Henrik Faison. Although Nelle was able to hold this over Ava for some time, Ava managed to get her own leverage against Nelle.

Ava stole the baby blanket from the Quartermaine mansion the night Nelle accused Carly of pushing her down the stairs. The baby blanket would support Carly’s story that the pregnant woman fell down the stairs during their tug of war over the item, rather than Nelle’s version of the events, where she claimed Carly purposely pushed her.

After months of walking on eggshells, it appears Ava has grown tired of playing this game of manipulation with Nelle and is ready to do what it takes to protect herself and Griffin. Will Nelle take Ava’s threat seriously or will she continue to poke the Jerome bear?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC.
