The 63rd annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night features three highly prominent music stars — Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa and Beyonce — while comedian Trevor Noah serves as host in a vastly different format.

The premier music award show airs at 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+. There will be no audience due to the pandemic and many performances will be held at different venues around Los Angeles. The show plans to address how the pandemic impacted music.

Swift, Lipa and Beyonce are in a three-way race for music's biggest star. Swift and Lipa will be performing on Sunday, but Beyonce has opted out for undisclosed reasons.

Beyonce has been nominated for nine nominations including two Record of the Years for “Black Parade” and “Savage Remix.” This makes her the most nominated female artist in Grammy history, according to Reuters.

Swift has earned herself six nominations, including Album of the Year for her 2020 record, “Folklore.” She’s also nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with Bon Iver, Best Pop Vocal Album, Song of the Year, Best Song Written For Visual Media and Producer of the Year.

As for Lipa, she’s also grabbed six nominations including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album. In 2018, she won a Grammy for Best New Artist.

While there are many anticipated performances for Sunday’s award show, viewers are most excited for BTS’s first-time Grammy performance, according to a poll on the show’s official website.
