The Hilarious Reason ‘DWTS’ Pros Peta Murgatroyd And Maksim Chmerkovskiy Were Kicked Out Of Birthing Class [VIDEO]
Maksim Chmerkovskiy and his pregnant fiancée Peta Murgatroyd’s first experience with a Lamaze birthing class didn’t go quite as planned. In a hilarious Instagram video, Maks revealed that they were kicked out of the class because Peta wasn’t a good student.
According to the “Dancing With the Stars” pro, Peta was “misbehaving” in class and didn’t listen. “That’s what happened,” he said. “This baby is going to be a disaster.” In the background, Peta just giggled. Maks wrote in the caption of his video that the Lamaze class was “interesting” and called Peta out for being the “worst student in class.”
“I don’t blame her,” he added. “Cause it was a million hours long and we’ve been shown waaaaaaay too much stuff! My hair is indicative of the ‘stuff’ we’ve witnessed. #traumatized #NothingToHashtag.”
According to Baby Center, the Lamaze birthing classes typically include 12 hours of teaching, but it isn’t clear how long Peta and Maks’ first session was. The goal of the classes are to “increase women’s confidence in their ability to give birth” by showing them birthing videos, breathing and other relaxation techniques, ways to interact with the baby and more.
Peta hasn’t commented on the “traumatizing” class, but the 30-year-old dancer has been sharing pregnancy updates on her Instagram. Two weeks ago, Peta told fans that she was 33 weeks along. “Oiling this buttercup up,” she captioned a photo of her wearing a tiny bikini. Last month, Peta shared another bare baby bump selfie writing in the caption that baby Chmerkovskiy “will be here in no time.”
In September, Maks gushed about his pregnant fiancée telling Us Weekly that he thinks she’s going to be an “amazing” mom. “We’re going to look back on this process and say we had one of the easiest pregnancies,” he added.
Peta and Maks announced they were expecting their first child together in July, just a few months after she won Season 22 of “Dancing With the Stars” with partner Nyle DiMarco.
