How Princes William, Harry, Kate, Meghan Changed From Fab Four To ‘Fab Two’
Prince William and Kate Middleton’s split from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was recently made official after the name of the Royal Foundation was changed. It has also been revealed that the Cambridges ended all of their associations with the Sussexes.
During an interview on “The Today Show,” royal commentator Victoria Murphy said that even though it’s sad that the Fab Four has decided to split, royal fans still have two “Fab Twos” at the moment.
Murphy also said that the royal couples might have decided to go their separate ways because of their constant disagreements with each other. Prince William and Middleton are treading very different paths from Prince Harry and Markle.
“I think there have been some disagreements and I also think it’s become very apparent to them that they are two couples working in different ways with very different destinies… And, actually, it makes a lot more sense for them to have these two separate foundations and move forward separately professionally… So, we had the fab fours, we maybe have the two fab twos now,” she said.
Prince William and Prince Harry set up the Royal Foundation in 2009. Two years later, Middleton joined the foundation after she tied the knot with Prince William. And shortly after Markle wed Prince Harry, she also became an official member of the Royal Foundation.
Last year, royal fans thought that the couples will be working together for as long as possible. As such, everyone was surprised to know that they decided to go their separate ways. Royal experts said that one of the main reasons for the split has to do with the royal siblings’ different roles in the monarchy.
Prince William and Middleton will have more responsibilities as the future King and Queen of England. As such, they need to operate their own charities and household. Prince Harry and Markle will never be King and Queen, and their goal is to lead a private life.
