Jake Paul Sparks Outrage Over Looting Incident In Arizona Mall, YouTuber Denies Allegations

Jake Paul sparked outrage after he was seen with the looters in an Arizona mall.
On Saturday (May 30), Paul’s videographer and photographer Andrew Blue shared a video of the YouTuber with his friends at Fashion Square in Scottsdale, Arizona. In the clip, Paul is not seen damaging the shopping center, but the people around him are visibly kicking the glass windows and breaking the kiosks.
Paul was caught in the midst of a riot. He himself shared a video in his Instagram Stories of the incident at Fashion Square.
“Bunch of [explicit] idiots, bro. Literally I walked right here, right up to there,” he says while walking toward the area where the police officers are stationed.
“These [explicit] idiots teargassed me. I ain’t doing [explicit], bro. Look at them pointing guns at me.”
Over the footage, he wrote, “America is in ruins.”
The netizens who saw the video were outraged after seeing Paul joining the looters. Many called out the YouTube sensation for being there in the first place. Several accused him of joining the crowd for content and likes.
“Jake Paul should be in prison for all the [explicit] he's pulled before this but this just proves it more,” one wrote.
“Jake paul is out filming this shit for content and not only is he doing that he was also caught looting,” @gabsbrokengirl wrote.
“The YouTuber was seen among vandals who were breaking windows and shooting fireworks,” @KHOU shared.
“Hey @KEEMSTAR thanks for reporting on the Jake Paul issue. The mans is a monster. Meaning a terrible person,” another opined.
Paul has since addressed the incident. The YouTuber took to Twitter and denied that he was involved in looting and vandalism. According to him, they were there to protest peacefully and added that they were “strictly documenting not engaging.”
“I do not condone violence, looting or breaking the law,” he added.
Paul said they were just there to be helpful and to raise awareness. He also reminded the people that it’s not the best time to attack each other.
