‘Jane The Virgin’ Season 3: Find Out How The Cast Celebrated The Season Premiere

The cast of “Jane the Virgin” always seems to have a lot of fun together, and they even made the most out of their Season 3 premiere event.

The group didn’t get all glammed up and go out to celebrate the season premiere. Instead, they chose to spend a quiet evening at home in their most comfortable clothes to watch the episode.

The moment was shared by Justin Baldoni, who plays Rafael Solano in the series, on his Instagram account (@justinbaldoni). “A cast that watches their premier (sic) together... stays together __#janethevirgin,” he captioned the photo.

He later posted another photo of the group goofing around on the staircase. “From our family to yours....thank you!! We love all all! If you missed the Season 3 premier of @cwjanethevirgin you can watch on the The CW app or cwtv.com!” he wrote.

Meanwhile, his co-star Gina Rodriguez, who plays Jane Gloriana Villanueva in the show, shared the cutest photo of Jane, Rafael, Michael Cordero (Brett Dier) and baby Mateo on the set via her Instagram account (@hereisgina). “Jane and all her boys. _ Season 3 #janethevirgin,” she wrote.

Fans are pretty excited to find out whether Michael lives or dies in the season premiere. Showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman told Yahoo! TV that they always planned on Michael getting shot, since it would propel the storylines forward.

“We knew it was going to happen. We knew it was going to be pretty devastating after this incredibly joyful wedding,” she said. “We really planned and thought through what it will do to the show, to the narrative, to the characters, and how it will propel us forward in the long-term arc.”

“Jane the Virgin” Season 3 premiered on Monday, Oct. 17 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
