Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck Go Christmas Tree Shopping With Their Kids

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are getting ready for their first Christmas as a married couple.

On Saturday, the 53-year-old "Marry Me" star and the 50-year-old Oscar winner, who tied the knot in July, were spotted going on a Christmas tree hunt in Santa Monica, California, along with their five children from previous marriages, TMZ reported.

The blended family spent quite a lot of time searching for the perfect tree at the vacant lot in Santa Monica that was littered with Douglas and other firs, according to the outlet.

They eventually chose a huge balsam fir, which they tied to their SUV, as seen in photos obtained by the outlet.

Lopez's 14-year-old twins Max and Emme, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, were present during the outing. Max wore a simple gray shirt and teal shorts and sported headphones on his head. His sister, who reportedly goes by they/them pronouns, sported a gray long-sleeved sweater and black jeans.

Meanwhile, 17-year-old Violet, 13-year-old Seraphina and 10-year-old Samuel, Affleck's children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, also tagged along for the Christmas tree hunt.

Violet — who had just returned from Washington, D.C., where she attended the White House state dinner with her mom Thursday — donned a dark dress with a white cardigan for the outing. Seraphina opted for a casual sweater and jeans, while Samuel sported gray leggings and a navy blue T-shirt.

The "Dinero" singer dressed up for the weekend outing, wearing a plain white low-neck shirt tucked into denim flare jeans, which she paired with a green-and-white tweed trench coat. Affleck, for his part, wore a beige drawstring hoodie and black jeans.

Lopez and Affleck got married in an intimate ceremony at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in July. They then enjoyed a "post-wedding" getaway with their children in Paris, France, People reported.

The couple later tied the knot for the second time in front of their family and friends in August at the "Argo" director's 87-acre estate in Georgia.

During an interview with Vogue for its December cover story, the actress spoke about her experience blending families with Affleck, sharing that it needed to be "handled with so much care" and was "going really well so far."

She also praised Garner for being an "amazing co-parent" and said that the "13 Going on 30" star and Affleck worked "really well together."
