Jessa Duggar Pregnant: Ben Seewald And ‘Counting On' Star Tease Due Date

Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald are expanding their family once again. The “Counting On” stars announced the 28-year-old is pregnant with the couple’s fourth child.

On Thursday, Jessa shared the baby news on her Instagram account by posting photos of her sonogram while teasing the baby’s due date.

“We’re looking forward to summertime, and here’s our #1 reason! Thank you, God, for this precious gift! #RainbowBaby,” she captioned the post.

The couple also opened up to Entertainment Tonight about what the latest addition means to their family. “After the heartbreaking loss of a baby last year, we’re overjoyed to share that another little Seewald is on the way!” the couple said in a statement.

“The pregnancy is going smoothly, and both baby and Jessa are doing well. We are so grateful to God for the precious gift of a new life! The kids are delighted, and we can hardly wait to welcome this little one into our arms this summer.”

In a video featured on the TLC blog, Jessa revealed she and Ben are working to prepare their three children, Spurgeon, 4, Henry, 3, and Ivy, 1, for the arrival of the new baby. “Spurgeon and Henry are very excited,” Jessa explained.

“They understand — we have little pregnancy apps on my phone that we look at. They get to see updates of the baby’s progress and growth. Ivy, I don’t think she quite understands,” she continued.

Although Jessa and Ben have tried to talk to Ivy about being a big sister, the tot is just too young to understand. “We talked about, ‘We’re going to have a baby.’ And she says, ‘Baby?’ I don’t think she quite gets it. I think it’s going to be a shock whenever baby comes,” she added.

Jessa went on to reveal that she’s “feeling great” despite being “pretty sick” during her first trimester. While the experienced parents can’t predict what will happen when their new baby arrives, Jessa and Ben feel “a little more prepared” and ready to take on whatever comes next.
