Josh Duhamel recently opened up about being a bachelor again months after his divorce from Fergie.

While speaking with Architectural Digest, Duhamel revealed that he also purchased a pad in Los Angeles, and that’s where he’s been staying in for the past couple of months.

“My place in L.A. I just got… I am about to close on a ranch-style one-level, four bedroom midcentury modern. I love midcentury modern. I don’t like ultra-modern and I don’t like too country. I just like it sort of comfy,” he said.

After looking for his new place, Duhamel chanced upon the pad and fell in love with it instantly. According to the actor, it also has a beautiful and relaxing view.

“It’s up on the hill, it’s got a beautiful pool in the back, it’s got enough yard to put a little chipping area, putting area in eventually. Great barbecue. It just feels relaxing, you know, and I have been unsettled now since February, so I am excited to just get some place and just have my stuff and just relax a little bit,” he said.

Duhamel and Fergie announced their decision to divorce in September after eight years of marriage. The ex-couple started dating in 2004 and have been blessed with their son, Axl.

One month after their divorce, Fergie said on “The Wendy Williams Show” that she never wanted to end her marriage to the actor. “I wanted to stay married forever,” she said.

The Black Eyed Peas singer also gushed over Duhamel at that time and said that they have an amicable relationship with each other. “He’s good looking, always will be. I love Josh, he’s the father of my child. We forever have that project together, and we’re doing the best we can,” she said.

According to US Weekly, Duhamel and Fergie have been separated since February, but they only made their decision public in September. “There’s no right time. It’s such a weird thing having to announce to the public because when you’re in show business you have to do an announcement,” Fergie said.

She and Duhamel took their time to make sure that their decision is right and final.
