Justin Bieber sure knows how to give back. The 16-year-old pop star announced via Twitter that he will donate all hair he recently got shorn to a charity to auction.

So it's true ... I got a lil haircut ... I like it. And we are giving all the hair cut to CHARITY to auction, he tweeted.

Bieber's stylist posted a picture of the singer's new hairdo which caused Bieber fans on Twitter to react. #RIPhairflip was a Trending Topic, as was #GoodbyeFakeBeliebers.

Bieber explained the reasons he wanted the cut to TMZ.

I wanted to change it up, he said. He added that he wanted a more mature look.

The Canadian sensation is also the latest celebrity to get his own wax figure at Madame Tussauds wax museum, Reuters reported. The wax figure will debut at Madame Tussauds in New York, London and Amsterdam in March.

To be immortalized in wax alongside some of my idols - Michael Jackson, Prince, Beyoncé and my mentor, Usher - is incredibly exciting and very cool, Bieber said in a statement.
