Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle Join Forces For This Touching Reason Amid Feud
Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle once again joined forces amid their rumored feud.
The duchesses, together with their husbands, sent their condolences to the victims of the Cyclone Idai. The recent devastation saw the death of approximately 300 individuals. At least 1,500 others are still waiting to be rescued.
Middleton, Markle, Prince William, and Prince Harry’s touching letter was uploaded via Kensington Palace’s Twitter account.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have sent a message to the people of Malawi, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe – countries which have been affected by Cyclone Idai,” the letter read.
Prior to the Royals’ letter being released, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip also sent out their heartfelt condolences to the victims of the calamity.
“Prince Philip and I were deeply saddened to learn of the loss of life and widespread destruction caused by flooding and cyclonic winds in Malawi last week. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the victims and to all those who have lost their homes and livelihoods,” the letter read.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time that Middleton and Markle released a joint statement despite ongoing rumors that they are not in good terms.
Last week, the Duchesses also released a statement following the deadly attacks at New Zealand’s Christchurch that took the lives of approximately 49 individuals. In the statement, the royals revealed that they were saddened by the news.
Markle and Middleton are being pitted against each other for months. Rumors about their alleged feud first made headlines last year. Multiple publications claimed that the Duchess of Sussex made the Duchess of Cambridge cry. They also accused the two female royals of faking their friendship in public.
But until today, Markle and Middleton have not yet confirmed or denied that reports about their feud. Kensington Palace previously said that there is no truth to the rumors.
