Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle Pitted Against Each Other By Fans Over ‘Favoritism’
Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are once again being pitted against each other by royal fans.
On the online forum site Quora, royal fans were asked to weigh in on who their favorite royal is between the two Duchesses.
Ree Connell, a former student at RMIT University, said that she likes Middleton and Markle but for entirely different reasons.
“I think that Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, is the perfect wife for Prince William, Duke of Cambridge as a future Queen Consort. I also think that Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex chose the perfect wife for himself in Meghan, Duchess of Sussex,” she wrote.
Audra Sebastian, a sales administrative operations manager, said that her favorite royal is Middleton, and she has been following her ever since she started dating Prince William.
Sebastian, who is a self-confessed history buff, also said that the Duchess of Cambridge is everything that she should be.
“She has a quiet restrained dignity but also exudes warmth and kindness. She respects tradition but will do some things in a non-traditional manner, like the way she took time off to raise a family and enjoy married life,” she wrote.
Sophie Oldfield, a royal fan, said that Middleton is also her favorite royal because even with her current status, she still shops on her own and doesn’t want to have several royal aides.
As of late, none of the royal fans that participated in the discussion said that Markle is their favorite royal. Some of them said that the two Duchesses shouldn’t be pitted against each other, while several others chose Prince William’s wife.
In related news, Middleton and Markle are rumored to have been feuding with each other for the past couple of months. The speculations died down for a bit in December, but it once again picked up earlier this month due to the upcoming Chelsea Flower Show.
Reports claimed that Markle and Prince Harry will be supporting a different flower display other than the one that Middleton is designing.
