Kate Middleton Stuns In Lace Dress For Royal Variety Performance, Netizens React

Kate Middleton was stunning in her black lace dress on her recent outing

On Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stepped out together to attend the Royal Variety Performance in London. The future queen consort wore a gorgeous black lace gown by her favorite designer Alexander McQueen.

She paired her get-up with black Jimmy Choo heels and a matching black clutch. The duchess also sported her signature curls. Meanwhile, Prince William looked dapper in his black tuxedo.

Royal fans who saw Middleton’s dress couldn’t stop but praise her. According to many netizens, the duchess was “beautiful,” “fabulous” and “graceful.”

“Stunning! Elegant! ROYAL! This is what the British Monarchy looks like. Beautiful, graceful, dignified...” one netizen commented.

Meanwhile, a tabloid described Middleton’s ensemble with plunging neckline and see-through design. However, netizens disagreed because it wasn’t daring at all.

“Yes indeed I clicked and saw a very nice appropriate dress for the occasion. Was thinking I was going to see something really daring. You can understand my disappointment I'm sure,” one netizen opined.

It was the third time Prince William and Middleton attended the Royal Variety Performance together. The couple first attended the event in 2014 and made another appearance in 2017.

Two years ago Middleton showed up in a baby blue embellished gown by Jenny Packham. Prince William also wore a black classic tuxedo that year.

Prince William and Middleton met the cast of “Mary Poppins” before they headed to the event. During the said outing, Prince William told Shirley Ballas and Claudia Winkelman that his wife loves “Strictly Come Dancing” and forces him to watch the show with her.

Middleton is reportedly a huge fan of the BBC dancing competition show. Her mother Carole Middleton also loves it. Aside from the mother and daughter, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, also admitted that she enjoys the same program.

Last month, Buckingham Palace shared a clip of Prince Edward’s wife dancing on the sideline of the ballroom. Sophie showed off her moves when she joined the other couples on the dance floor and royal fans were impressed.
