Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s wedding dress was compared in a poll and one is more preferred than the other.

Middleton wore an Alexander McQueen wedding dress designed by Sarah Burton on her big day. Meanwhile, Markle dressed in a classy, asymmetrical gown by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy when she walked down the aisle.

Online users were asked in a poll on The Tylt who between the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex had the better wedding gown. Seventy-four percent voted for Middleton’s bridal gown, Express reported.

“I still like Kate’s dress the most,” one survey participant said.

“Kate’s dress will forever be my favourite dress,” another added while sharing a collage of photos from Middleton’s wedding.

Meanwhile, 25.1 percent chose Markle due to its simplicity and off-the-shoulder design.

“I don’t care what you all say I loved Meghan’s dress. It was simple, classy and beautiful,” a different user wrote.

“Meghan's wedding dress was so beautiful! I mean less is more like they always say but the simple elegance of it was so captivating. And I love that she pulled it off well.,” another online user wrote.

Katy Perry was also once asked whose wedding dress she prefers between the two duchesses. According to the “American Idol” judge, she loves Markle but “Kate won.”

The “Roar” singer said that she would have done one more fitting about Markle’s Givenchy gown. Although she preferred the Duchess of Cambridge’s bridal gown, she said that she was very happy for Markle and Prince Harry. She was very impressed with Markle’s humanitarian efforts and feminist views.

In related news, earlier this year Prince Harry and Markle decided to leave Kensington Palace and move to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. There were rumors that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wanted to split their household from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge because they were feuding.

However, a recent report suggested that the Sussexes relocation could due to another reason and not the Cambridges. Prince Harry and Markle possibly moved to Frogmore Cottage due to “security scare” in Kensington Palace because its security plans were accessible to the public.
