Although fans may think they know her because she and her family have had their own reality show for years, Kylie Jenner likes to keep some things to herself. That doesn’t mean, however, that fans are completely oblivious when it comes to knowing things about her.

1. Jenner doesn’t like to share who she really is on social media

Although she has a reality series “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” that follows her around, Jenner has insisted that fans don’t really know who she is. “I usually don’t show my true personality to the world, because when you open yourself up so much, there’s more room for people to say things about you,” she told Allure magazine in July 2016.

During a chat with her famous sister Kim Kardashian for Allure, Jenner admitted that what she shares on Snapchat is well thought-out. “I put a lot of thought into it, and I always like to give people what they want to see. It’s not that I necessarily [want] to post all of my cars today. It’s that I know people want to see that and live their life through ours,” she said.

2. Proud of her scar

Jenner has never tried to hide the scar on her leg. Whether she is taking a picture for social media or attending an award show, the reality star has never seemed ashamed of her scar.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder obtained the scar at a young age. “When I was about five, my sister and I were playing hide-and-seek, and I hid inside this really tall-enclosed gate,” Jenner revealed during a Q&A.

“After a while when my sister didn’t find me I had to climb up on this sharp pole sticking out from the gate. I slipped and the pole went into my leg. I tried pulling away to get the pole out but it just tore through my whole leg,” the star stated.

Jenner previously said that she could have the scar removed by hasn’t because “I think it makes me [me].”

3. Obsessed with makeup

Jenner, who is the founder of Kylie Cosmetics, has launched several successful lip kits, highlighters, lipsticks and more. On a personal note, the star revealed that her beauty routine requires 22 steps to perfect her makeup.

Jenner, who opened up a pop-up shop in New York City in February, referred to the big step as an “unreal experience” due to the amount of people that showed up to support and buy her makeup.

4. Stands up for herself

When Jenner feels like someone has taken things too far she isn’t afraid to stand up for herself. In February, Jenner called out haters who accused her of trying to make the skin on her wax figure darker.

The reality star shared pictures of the color palette, which caused the speculation, but she cleared things up in a Snapchat video. “They were mixing all those colors on a palette, not me. Stop reaching. I don’t even have say in this, so let’s leave it to the professionals...people,” the star said.

5. Definitely a dog person

In November 2016, Jenner skipped the American Music Awards when her dog Bambi went into labor. At the time Jenner had two Italian Greyhounds, Bambi and Norman, but the reality star revealed that she would be keeping the two puppies adding to her group of furry friends.
