"Little People, Big World" alum Jacob Roloff and his wife Isabel Rock are officially parents.
The 24-year-old reality star announced the arrival of their firstborn on Twitter Monday. Roloff confirmed that he and his wife welcomed a son but did not share any photos of the newborn or reveal the baby's name.
"My wife is a superhero, my son is an angel and all nurses are saints," he wrote. "Goodnight."
Twitter users congratulated the couple on the birth of their first child.
"Congratulations!! Hope you are well, hope Isabel is getting the support she needs with recovery and your son is a happy healthy beautiful boy!" one fan wrote.
"Congratulations to you both on your son. Hope all is well with everyone," another commented.
"Congratulations!!!" a third user wrote.
Roloff and Rock, 25, got engaged in 2017 after dating for three years. They wed in September 2019 in Oregon.
Back in March, Rock posted about knowing when it's the right time to start a family.
"I asked my friend a few days ago when she knew she was ready to have kids. She said, 'We didn't. We were waiting for this 'aha' moment and it never happened,'" she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her with her husband and their two dogs. "That stunned me because my entire life has been made up of waiting for these aha moments and they just don't happen. You never feel really ready for anything. But eventually, you find the courage and take the leap. And you just do the damn thing."
Rock admitted that it sometimes pained her to think that she had wasted a lot of time "waiting for life to happen to me" instead of realizing that she creates her own reality. However, she said that "everything is playing out exactly as it should, and the aha moment is me finally taking aligned action and JUST GOING FOR IT."
The couple announced Rock's pregnancy on Instagram in July, with both Roloff and Rock sharing the same photo of the photographer's growing baby bump.
"Not for you but us: I'm very happy to say we're having a son," Roloff captioned his Instagram post.
Last year, Roloff, who left "Little People, Big World" in 2019, came forward with allegations that he was molested by Chris Cardamone, a former producer for the TLC series who worked on the show from 2007 to 2010.
"As a child, after what I realize now was a long grooming process, I was molested by an executive producer for ‘Little People Big World,’ Chris Cardamone," he wrote on Instagram in December 2020. "I do not expect to provide details of this encounter at any point publicly. I do hope he is never allowed around children again."
Roloff said he did not speak out sooner because "a child must process, and I needed silence and time" but later chose to talk about the experience so that he can continue to heal.
In a statement to People at the time, the network responded to the allegations saying, "We are saddened and troubled by this very serious allegation, and TLC will work cooperatively with the authorities. Our main focus remains on supporting the Roloff family during this very difficult time."
