‘Love & Hip Hop New York’ Season 6 Spoilers: Remy Ma And Papoose Have Their Wedding In Finale Episode [RECAP]

It’s the day of Remy Ma’s wedding! The Season 6 finale of VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: New York” focuses on the “Hands Down” rapper walking down the aisle to her longtime love Papoose. Even though Remy and Papoose initially wed in 2008, the pair didn’t get to have a wedding ceremony because she was in prison.

The finale kicks off with Remy coming to check on things to make sure all the final details for her big day are falling into place. Of course a few things go wrong, and Remy gets a little upset when her wedding coordinator informs her that the ice skating rink she wanted can’t go outside because of the bad weather. Instead, they decide to move it inside the venue.

As Papoose is getting ready with his guys, the wedding planner drops off a DVD that Remy made for him. They all gather around to watch it but Papoose quickly kicks everyone out when he realizes that it’s a strip tease video she made at her bachelorette party.

While Papoose is enjoying the video Remy made for him, she gets even more bad news from her planner. As she’s getting her makeup done she’s informed that the pastor is not at the venue yet and hasn’t been answering his phone. Remy gets upset again and has Rah Ali ask Papoose about it since he was the one who was in charge of securing the pastor. He tells Rah that he was able to get the same pastor who officiated his telephone wedding with Remy in 2008 to come and do their ceremony. He asks Rah not to tell Remy because he wants it to be a surprise.

Eventually, Remy and Papoose do make it down the aisle and the rest of the ceremony goes off without a hitch. In the end, Remy says the wedding was perfect and also agrees to expand her family with Papoose. She has a son from a previous relationship, and he has a daughter with an ex. As previously reported, it’s rumored Remy is pregnant and will announce the news during the upcoming reunion.

Unfortunately, not every “Love & Hip Hop: New York” couple gets to enjoy the wedding. Peter Gunz and Amina Buddafly start arguing at the ceremony over Tara Wallace and her pregnancy. Amina is mad Peter got his ex pregnant and gets even more upset when he tells her that he’s having a vasectomy and his baby with Tara will be his last one. Amina doesn’t think it’s fair Tara gets to have a baby, and she doesn’t, especially since she made the decision to terminate an earlier pregnancy. Things escalate between Amina and Peter and she storms away telling him she’s done with the relationship.

Part 1 of the “Love & Hip Hop: New York” Season 6 reunion airs Monday, March 14 at 8 p.m. on VH1.
