"Manifest" will return for one final season to give its fans the ending they deserve.

Netflix made the big announcement on Twitter Saturday that it renewed the supernatural drama series created by Jeff Rake for Season 4 after it was canceled at NBC.

"Couldn't let a day as significant as today go uncelebrated," the streaming service tweeted. "Manifest will officially return for a super-sized fourth and final season, only on Netflix!"

The news was revealed on Aug. 28, a date that marks the unofficial holiday for "Manifest" fans as the show's premise centers on Flight 828 and its passengers, who mysteriously went missing for more than five years without aging, E! News noted.

"Manifest" fans quickly took to social media to express their joy over the renewal news, though some said they had hoped for more seasons.

"Predicted this a while ago! Only, I had hoped for three more seasons, but nonetheless, thank you @Netflix. Good luck to the cast & crew!" one fan tweeted.

"Final season? [I] thought there was an original 6-year plan to 2024. Things are really going to have to be sped up now to the future since the whole series rides on them getting past the death date June 2024," another wrote.

Netflix said "Manifest" Season 4 will comprise 20 episodes, "which will bring the story of the passengers of Flight 828 to its conclusion," Entertainment Tonight reported. However, no release date has been announced yet.

"What started years ago as a flight of fancy deep in my imagination has evolved into the jet engine journey of a lifetime. Never in my wildest dreams could I have envisioned the worldwide outpouring of love and support for this story, its characters, and the team who work so hard to bring it all to life," the series' creator, showrunner and executive producer, Rake, said in a statement to ET.

He continued, "That we will be able to reward the fans with the ending they deserve moves me to no end. On behalf of the cast, the crew, the writers, directors and producers, thank you to Netflix, to Warner Bros., and of course to the fans. You did this."

Rake also shared the happy news on Twitter, writing: "SAVED! Who did this? YOU did this."

The stars of the show also celebrated "Manifest" getting a fourth and final season at Netflix, taking to social media to thank their fans for calling for a renewal.

"#manifest continues on ⁦@netflix⁩!! #manifesters you did this. You have my heart forever. Now, sit back and brace yourselves for what's to come. The story continues!" Josh Dallas tweeted.

"AHHHHHHHHHH this would've never happened without the amazing #SaveManifest campaign led by the fans! it’s all you. such exciting news," Holly Taylor wrote.

"It’s official y’all… You saved @NBCManifest… To have seen y’all come together like this has been an incredible thing to witness and I’m so excited to see where Season 4 leads. Thank you," Garrett Wareing wrote.

"Manifest" premiered in September 2018 and ran for three seasons on NBC. According to USA Today, NBC canceled the series in May despite being a consistent top-10 show on Netflix.
