Meghan Markle has continued to reveal secrets about her past and break certain rules while on her royal tour of Africa with Prince Harry. She has also sent intentional messages through her clothing choices. Now, it has been revealed that the Duchess of Sussex made yet another statement with something from her wardrobe. What was it?

According to Express, the former "Suits" actress recently wore a pair of ruby red slippers that had a hidden meaning attached to them.

The shoes were created by Everlane, a sustainable brand, which the Duchess is seemingly very fond of. Supporting such a company is not unusual for Meghan as she has shown a penchant for highlighting issues that matter to her through her purchases. However, this particular pair of shoes also gave a subtle nod to another aspect of her life.

The particular style of shoe that she wore was called "The Editor Slingback," which most fans of the British royal family took as a reminder of the guest editing position she stepped into at British Vogue for their September issue.

Aside from making unique statements through her clothing choices, the Duchess has also picked up a famous admirer while on her royal tour of Africa with Prince Harry. The noteworthy fan called Meghan an "inspiration to so many" for the charitable work that she has been doing both before and during her current trip.
