Meghan Markle Made Prince Harry Drop Kate Middleton’s Friend Before Royal Baby
Before Prince Harry married Meghan Markle, he often partied with a large circle of friends that at times would get him into trouble. Once the Duke of Sussex tied the knot with the former “Suits” stars, he reportedly began to phase out certain people including Kate Middleton’s friend Astrid Harbord.
Meghan and Harry are expected to welcome their first child together any day now, but prior to her pregnancy, Meghan was reportedly worried certain friends would distract Harry from expanding their new family.
In a resurfaced article from the Daily Express, a source revealed Meghan wanted to get pregnant and was worried Prince Harry would lose focus.
“It’s all part of Meghan’s quiet airbrushing out of Harry’s old posse. She doesn’t want temptation - of any sort - being put in his way while they concentrate on starting a family,” the insider said.
The confidant claimed, Meghan felt Kate’s friend Astrid was someone, who needed to be cut out of her husband’s life. Harry and Astrid reportedly remained close following his split with Chelsy Davy, but Meghan wasn’t supportive of the friendship.
Another friend who received the boot was Tom Inskip. The man, also known as “Skippy” was with Prince Harry in 2012 when his nude photo scandal happened in Las Vegas.
“Like several others who were considered a questionable influence on Harry during his bad old bachelor days, Tom has been dropped. Even though he himself now has a lovely wife, Lara,” the source said.
According to Daily Express royal correspondent Richard Palmer, Meghan has had her fair share of diva moments in the past. “It is clear that Meghan is regarded as difficult and demanding by some in the family and on the staff,” he previously stated.
Despite speculation, there has been no evidence proving Meghan is difficult to work with. However, one thing that is certain is Meghan and Prince Harry will become parents in the near future.
The couple will not share news of the baby’s arrival until a later date, which means fans will have to wait for the Palace to share the latest royal baby update.
