Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were praised for “humility” before their spiteful statement against Queen Elizabeth II.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are in hot water after releasing a statement about the Spring 2020 transition on their official website. In their post, many felt that the two were playing victim by referencing how minor royals were allowed to seek employment outside of the institution while they were being put on a 12-month probation.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said that Prince Harry should have shown more “humility” toward the Queen’s decision. But prior to the controversy, the couple was actually praised for being humble.

Prince Harry was the Captain General of the Marines and could have worn one, but he opted to sport his original regiment, the Household Cavalry, and the rank of Major.

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were accused of disrespecting the Queen for their recent statement. Markle was called a “narcissist” and Prince Harry was also slammed for turning his back from the royal family who has been very supportive of him.

Some users believe that Prince Harry and Markle should have not commented on the Queen’s decision. According to one netizen, the Sussexes should have just accepted the Queen’s decision with “good grace.”
