‘A Million Little Things’ Season 2, Episode 18 Synopsis, What Happens In ‘Mothers & Daughters?’
It’s been a year since their lives all changed forever in so many ways, but a new mystery could begin to unfold that once again throws things into chaos on ABC’s “A Million Little Things.”
After dreaming about Jon (Ron Livingston) on the one-year anniversary of his death, Eddie (David Giuntoli) also recalled a memory from past trips to his family’s lake house that indicated the death of a girl the last time he was there. Now, after initially believing it was a metaphor for his fractured relationship with Sophie (Lizzy Greene) and realizing it was a real memory, he wants to now get answers to see what happened—and why it’s resurfacing now.
“Eddie becomes obsessed with trying to resolve mistakes from his past,” a synopsis for Season 2 Episode 18 “Mothers * Daughters,” reads.
Meanwhile, as he tries to uncover what this memory from his past means, the rest of his friends are also dealing with some big struggles. Rome (Romany Malco) and Regina (Christina Moses) are inching closer and closer to parenthood with Eve (Eboney Wilson) approaching her due date, and while they managed the thwart the issues with her ex, that doesn’t mean the couple won’t still have some other problems to face—or drama, for that matter, as a baby shower to celebrate the impending birth causes more tension as well between Regina’s mother, Shelly (Romy Rosemont) and Delilah (Stephanie Szostak).
“Shelly and Delilah both take on planning a baby shower for Regina as Eve gives her and Rome shocking news,” the synopsis states.
In addition, Maggie (Allison Miller) and Gary (James Roday) are trying to navigate their feelings they both still have for one another and whether or not they want to try and rekindle a romance—but the fellowship at Oxford that will take Maggie overseas will now stand in their way.
“Meanwhile, Maggie’s new venture has her rethinking her relationship with Gary,” the synopsis says.
“A Million Little Things” airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
