‘Nantucket Noel’ Hallmark Movie Premiere: Cast, Trailer, Synopsis
Hallmark Channel’s merry holiday season continues with the newest “Countdown to Christmas” holiday premiere, “Nantucket Noel.” The film, starring Sarah Power and Trevor Donovan, premieres Friday night.
The film will be a treat for Hallmark fans, who will be seeing two network favorites together for the first time, and the first-ever holiday film for the network for one of the two stars. While Power has starred as Abigail Pershing on “The Good Witch,” which wrapped its run as a series on Hallmark this year, she hasn’t yet lent her talents to one of the network’s famed movies. Outside of the network, some keen-eyed fans may recognize her as Tennessee from “Schitt’s Creek,” but they still have yet to see her in a holiday film.
As for Donovan, who got his big break as Teddy Montgomery on “90210,” fans will certainly recognize him. In recent years, roles on the network have included the films “Love on a Limb,” “Marry Me At Christmas,” “SnowComing,” “Love, Fall & Order” and “Two For the Win.” He also worked on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries films “Nostalgic Christmas” and “USS Christmas.”
So what will happen in the film? According to a description, romance seems destined to bloom, even when circumstances surrounding the relationship are a bit on the sketchy side.
“During the Seaside Noel celebrations, Christina (Power) learns of a developer who is planning to tear down the wharf that is home to her toy store,” the description reads. “Tensions rise as she falls for the developer’s son, Andy (Donovan).”
Will Christina find a way to save her beloved business and also keep a new romance alive?
“Nantucket Noel” airs Friday, Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. EST on Hallmark Channel.
