Naomi Campbell is getting candid about her career and personal life.

The 51-year-old British model and actress recently reflected on her life and career choices in a new interview with The Cut. According to the "Empire" star, she chose to give up some things, including the chance to find a "soulmate," to get to where she is today.

"I'd say the sacrifice is really finding that soul mate who will understand you," she told the outlet. "It's really like you feel if they look at you as if you're strong … you know, I'm strong, but I'm also sensitive. I know that in relationships I have to compromise."

The supermodel is currently single, but she welcomed her first child in May. She introduced her little one to the world by sharing a snap of her little feet on Instagram.

"A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother, So honored to have this gentle soul in my life. There are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love," Campbell wrote.

It remains unclear if the baby was conceived via surrogacy or who the child's father is.

In the same interview, Campbell also reflected on her personal growth and changes over the years. While she acquired a reputation for being difficult to work with in the early '90s and 2000s, she said she believes that she has grown out of that phase in her life.

"I don't have a problem looking at myself in the mirror anymore and facing and owning who I am," she shared. "And for sure when I was younger, I wasn't always using it in the right way. It takes growth."

Campbell also told the outlet that being surrounded by her loved ones is now a top priority for her.

"I'm not out here on my own," she said of building and growing in relationships with her family and friends.

The model continued, "It's simple, and it's small. To be with your loved ones who just want to enjoy quality time. I want my friends to flourish. You want to protect those you love. And most importantly, when I reach out to people, and I need help and understanding and guidance, it's important for me to remember to say 'Thank you.' Almost like a threat — 'You never know when you may need that person to help you again or guide you.'"
