‘Nashville’ Season 6 Spoilers: Episode 2 Synopsis, Video And Photos Released

It seems like everyone in “Nashville” Season 6 is trying to move on. In episode 2 of the CMT drama, fans will see characters taking steps to move forward with their lives. However, not all changes are positive.

Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) is going to get in deeper with this new cult-like group. “Juliette dives into a self-help movement,” the synopsis says. She’ll head to their compound, and they’ll teach her a thing or two about hard work. Juliette might like the support they offer.

However, the “Nashville” promo video makes it clear that this new self-help guru has a lot of opinions about Juliette’s life. He asks her what she is going home to, and he seems to have a problem with her family and friends. “People so close to you they are invested in you staying exactly the way you are,” he points out. Juliette doesn’t seem to be in a rush to correct him.

Meanwhile, her husband Avery (Jonathan Jackson) will be considering getting back on stage in episode 2, titled “Second Chances.” “Will [Chris Carmack] and Gunnar [Sam Palladio] invite Avery to perform with them,” the logline teases. Considering how often Avery has to just be Juliette’s support system, a little performing would be a well-deserved break.

While Gunnar performs with his buddies, Scarlett (Clare Bowen) will be questioning her performing career altogether. However, a visit with a teenage girl she met last year may sway her decision. “Scarlett is reminded how her career as had a positive influence on fans,” the episode 2 synopsis says.

Scarlett will also be pushing Deacon (Charles Esten) to make a change. “Deacon goes on a date with a familiar face,” the synopsis teases. He’ll run into Jessie (Kaitlin Doubleday) in this episode. Will the meeting finally give the country crooner the courage to ask her out?

It’s great that Deacon is moving on, but it might not be great for Daphne (Maisy Stella). It sounds like she’ll be getting closer to Jessie’s son Jack (Myles Moore), and we all know how that went for Colt and Maddie (if you don’t remember Seasons 3 and 4, let’s just say it didn’t go over well). Here’s hoping Daphne and Jake keep things platonic while their parents figure out their relationship status.
