Nick Jonas Calls His Daughter With Priyanka Chopra 'A Gift': 'Life Is Beautiful'
Nick Jonas cannot get enough of his daughter and is loving every single moment he gets to spend with her.
The "This is Heaven" singer opened up about how he and his wife, actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas, have been doing since bringing their newborn daughter, Malti Marie, home from the hospital.
"Life is beautiful. She's a gift and we're just so blessed that she's back," the 29-year-old singer said in a recent interview with Today.
Malti Marie, whom the celebrity couple welcomed through surrogacy in January, spent around 100 days in the neonatal intensive care unit before they got her home.
Nick mentioned that with Malti joining the family, he and his two older brothers are now girl dads. "The Jonas family keeps growing. My parents were thrilled. Grandparents of, now, four beautiful granddaughters," he told Today.
Nick's eldest brother, Kevin Jonas, and his wife, Danielle Jonas, have two daughters, Alena, 8, and Valentina, 5. Joe Jonas and his wife, "Game of Thrones" star Sophie Turner, also have a daughter, Willa, who turns two in July.
Chopra shared a photo of Malti Marie on Instagram last week, along with a joint message about bringing their daughter home.
"On this Mother's Day we can't help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we've been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced. After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home," the actress wrote. "Every family's journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is."
The couple always wanted to start a family together and had spoken about their plans in many interviews.
"I definitely want to have kids," the "Quantico" star told People, six months before their December 2018 wedding in India. "It's going to happen in the next 10 years. Well, hopefully, earlier than that. I'm very fond of children and I want to be able to do that."
