Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' newborn daughter is "doing well" after coming home from the hospital, a report says.

Chopra, 39, and Jonas, 29, revealed Sunday that they were finally able to bring their daughter Malti Marie home following her long stay in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

An unnamed source told People that being able to bring their newborn home was the "perfect Mother's Day gift" for the first-time parents, who had been looking forward to doing so since day one. The couple is reportedly "thrilled" that their baby is finally home with them.

"Their daughter is doing well," the insider said, before adding that baby Malti was "still tiny, but catching up every day."

"[Chopra and Jonas] both just want to hold and snuggle her. They are already great parents," the source added.

The couple announced via Instagram on Jan. 21 that they welcomed their first child together via surrogate, telling fans that they were "overjoyed" about expanding their family.

Chopra has long been vocal about her and Jonas' desire for children. "They’re a big part of our desire for the future. By God's grace, when it happens, it happens," she told Vanity Fair, just weeks before making the surprise announcement.

On Sunday, Jonas and Chopra shared their first photo of Malti on Instagram. The snap showed the "Quantico" actress holding their daughter, whose face was not revealed, in her arms as the "Jealous" singer gently holds the baby's hand.

In the caption of his post, Jonas reflected on his daughter's arrival, while also celebrating Chopra on her first Mother's Day as a mom.

"On this Mother's Day we can't help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we've been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced," he said, before revealing that "after 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home."

"Every family's journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is," Jonas continued.

He went on to thank the doctors, nurses and specialists at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and the La Jolla satellite of Rady Children's Hospital.

Jonas also wished all mothers and caretakers, including his "incredible" wife, a happy Mother's Day.

"Babe, you inspire me and every way, and you are taking to this new role with such ease and steadiness. I am so grateful to be on this journey with you. You are already an incredible mother. Happy Mother’s Day. I love you," he wrote.

Chopra posted the same photo and message on her Instagram but added a sweet note to her husband in her caption: "There is no one I’d rather do this with than you. Thank you for making me a mama, @nickjonas. I love you."

Chopra and Jonas have been married for three years. They tied the knot in a lavish three-day wedding in India in December 2018.
