Nicki Minaj vs. Remy Ma Beef: Hot 97’s Ebro Denies Having Sex With ‘Pinkprint’ Rapper
On Feb. 25, Remy Ma dropped her Nicki Minaj diss record, “shETHER,” and accused the “Anaconda” rapper of a number of things, including sleeping with Trey Songz and using cocaine.
One of the accusations that had many hip-hop fans talking was Remy’s claim that Minaj had sex with Hot 97 radio personality Ebro Darden. On the song, Remy Ma raps, “Coke head, you cheated on your man with Ebro / I might leak the footage of you sniffing them ski slopes / They gassing you up, but you been on E though / ‘Pills and Potions,’ yup, you been on E, hoe.”
Following the release of the record, the radio personality took to Twitter to deny the claims, tweeting, “Remy know she’s lying.” Ebro went on to say that the person who gave Remy the false information was a nerd.
With the hip-hop world still believing Remy’s claims, Ebro used his morning radio show on Monday to once again deny the accusation. “I did not have sexual relations with that woman in any way, shape or form,” the radio host said, quoting president Bill Clinton’s famous statement following the Monica Lewinsky scandal.
Ebro went on to say that besides a compliment on Minaj’s butt, he never sexted or had been alone in a room with the rapper. As for who gave Remy Ma the alternative facts, the Hot 97 host believes it was an ex-friend of his in Minaj’s camp.
“I believe that because we would go out and have drinks and we had a good time that people got jealous at the time,” Ebro said.
But while the radio host has taken time to clear his name, not everyone is speaking up. Minaj’s ex-boyfriend, Meek Mill, who was also mentioned in the song, has yet to comment on the diss track.
In the song, Remy claims that Meek told her Minaj’s butt implants had popped. The “All The Way Up” rapper also blamed Nicki for starting the feud between Meek and Drake. Since the release of “shETHER,” Meek posted a photo of himself on Instagram with a caption that claimed he would be staying quiet.
