'Number 3': Ciara and Russell Wilson Announce Third Pregnancy With Island Selfies
Russell Wilson and Ciara made the most of their Turks and Caicos vacation with a DIY maternity shoot. Yes, they are expecting...again!
Ciara, 34, and Wilson, 31, each announced her third pregnancy via Instagram on Thursday morning. The photos featured Ciara revealing her baby bump in a red bikini while standing on a rock wall complimented by surrounding sand and blue skies. They each captioned their posts with “Number 3.”
The couple welcomed their daughter, Sienna Princess Wilson, 2, in 2017. Furthermore, the singer shares a 5-year-old son, Future Jr. Zahir Wilburn, with rapper and ex-fiancé Future.
Since the announcement, the couple has already received congratulatory remarks from thousands of fans and celebrities such as Khloe Kardashian, Phaedra Parks, and Duane Brown.
Speaking of fans, Wilson is frequently praised by them for the love he’s shown Ciara and their children over the years. In fact, the two are such #couplegoals that supporters often ask the soon-to-be mom of three what exactly she said in her prayer prior to meeting her husband, whom she married in 2016.
As People reported, Ciara attempted to describe her husband’s affection while appearing on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk last June.
“It was different,” she said. “I never had that feeling in my life. It was just like, it was calm... It’s a different level of love.”
During an interview with PureWow in November, the singer shared that the love she shares with her children has also had a major impact on her life.
“Motherhood has just shown me there’s really nothing we can’t do as women,” she explained. “I feel really empowered having my kids in my life. By far, my greatest accomplishment is having them...I really do believe that my kids have leveled up my life. It’s made me more responsible, more patient, even more compassionate for others...They make me go hard.”
And going hard is exactly what the expecting mom’s continuing to do. Ciara is set to take the stage in Miami for the Rolling Stone Super Bowl Party on Feb. 1.
