Olivia Culpo Says 'It Could Be Really Hard' For Her To 'Have Babies'; Here's Why
Olivia Culpo is worried if she will be able to conceive following her endometriosis diagnosis.
"I want to have kids, but I want to make sure that I can," Culpo said in a sneak-peek of the latest "The Culpo Sisters" episode Monday. "It could be really hard for me to have babies."
Culpo underwent surgery in August 2020 after she was diagnosed with endometriosis. This disease can cause painful periods, difficulty during intercourse, infertility, constipation and nausea, according to Mayo Clinic.
"Endometriosis can affect your fertility in a lot of different ways," the 30-year-old model explained. "There is so much that I don't know about what's going to happen in the future with that condition and I worry all the time about my timeline. I feel like I have to have kids ASAP."
The model is dating NFL player Christian McCaffrey for almost three years now. In the episode, Culpo also revealed they both are "on the same page about having kids."
However, she feels it is not a good time for McCaffrey to become a dad as he is focused on his game.
"He is completely and totally focused on football and he should be," she said. "He's 25. He's not ready to have kids. When you add all of these fertility concerns, it's definitely very, very stressful."
The couple began dating in 2019 and Culpo has been open about her relationship on social media. The model shared a series of photos with the NFL player on Instagram to show how strong their relationship was going.
"I'm so grateful for the voice inside me that told me to give love another chance. The yin to my yang, you are the epitome of strength through humility," she captioned the post. "Thank you for being my rock and restoring my faith in love. You are everything I ever dreamed of and more."
Before meeting McCaffrey, the model dated American swimmer Ryan Lochte, singer Nick Jonas and football players Tim Tebow and Danny Amendola.
