Pippa Middleton Runs Safaricom Marathon For A Just Cause

Pippa Middleton has proven that she’s not only a tough athlete, she also has a big heart. A week after completing a 54-mile charity bike ride alongside brother James, this fitness enthusiast ran in a marathon for the conservation charity Tusk Trust.
Last Saturday Kate Middleton’s sister participated in the annual Safaricom Marathon held at the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya, Africa. The marathon was a fundraising event, organized by Tusk Trust and Lewa, and supported by Safaricom. According to People, Pippa completed the 26.2 mile-run, which goes through the Lewa Conservatory.
The race is considered one of the toughest marathons in the world, given the scorching heat and the high-altitude air at more than 5,000 feet.
A spokeswoman at Tusk told People: "We are absolutely delighted to have her support. Pippa ran exceptionally well in a very tough marathon, wearing the Tusk cap."
