‘Pitch Perfect 3’ Spoilers: Bellas Reunite Post-College In Official Trailer [WATCH]

The feels for “Pitch Perfect 3” intensify as the official trailer is finally here!

On Saturday, the official trailer for “Pitch Perfect 3” was released, and it highlighted the Bellas’ challenges after graduating college and finding jobs. They realize a lot of things while they are apart, finding their own paths in life. But they will reunite to make some music once again and participate in a new a capella competition.

“Now graduated from college and out in the real world where it takes more than a cappella to get by, the Bellas return in Pitch ‘Perfect 3’, the next chapter in the beloved series that has taken in more than $400 million at the global box office,” the synopsis of the movie reads. “After the highs of winning the World Championships, the Bellas find themselves split apart and discovering there aren’t job prospects for making music with your mouth. But when they get the chance to reunite for an overseas USO tour, this group of awesome nerds will come together to make some music, and some questionable decisions, one last time.”

Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, Hailee Steinfeld and Anna Kendrick will return for the third installment. But aside from the cast mainstays, “Orange Is The New Black” star Ruby Rose will be appearing in the third installment of the hit franchise. “Meeting the cast was amazing,” Rose told Entertainment Tonight. “I’m a huge fan of Elizabeth Banks, Rebel [Wilson], Anna [Kendrick], so getting on stage the other day and singing in front of everyone as a bit of a rehearsal was invigorating.”

“Pitch Perfect” was released in 2012. Its sequel followed three years after. “Pitch Perfect 2” was more successful than the first film, so a third installment was expected. “Pitch Perfect 3” was announced in 2015.

Initially, “Pitch Perfect” was due out in theaters in July 2017. But it was later moved to August, before it was further pushed back to December. There were rumors that the movie release had been delayed because cast members Kendrick and Banks had been feuding. “Anna hates Elizabeth, that’s why she left ‘Pitch Perfect 3’! The tension between them has been growing and it just reached a point where they couldn’t deal with it anymore,” a source alleged.

Kendrick’s rep denied the speculation and called it “ridiculous and completely untrue.” The rep clarified that Banks opted to resign as director because she wanted to spend more time with her kids. However, she was still producing and co-starring in “Pitch Perfect 3,” which would have been unlikely if the beef with Kendrick was true.

“Pitch Perfect 3” hits theaters on Dec. 22.
