‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 7 Spoilers: Is Wren The ‘He’ From The Season 6 Premiere? New Elliott Rollins Theory

Is Elliott Rollins related to Wren? That’s one of the juicy new theories circulating about “Pretty Little Liars” — and it may connect to a storyline that was introduced last summer.

Season 6B concluded last August with the five-year time jump. In the final moments of the episode, Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) rush into an empty classroom. Alison’s (Sasha Pieterse) already inside, but the chalkboard reads “Mrs. Rollins” instead of “Ms. DiLaurentis.”

“He’s coming for you,” Aria blurts out with Emily and Hanna right behind her.

“We came back here for you Ali,” Emily warns her. “So move it.”

However, Spencer reveals that it’s too late.

“He’s already here,” she says.

“Pretty Little Liars” fans ultimately found out that Alison married her sister Charlotte’s (Vanessa Ray) doctor, Elliott Rollins (Huw Collins). However, Elliott proved himself to be a threat to Alison rather than a friend and lover. Viewers discovered this season that Elliott developed a romantic relationship with Charlotte while she was institutionalized. The two fell in love, and when Charlotte was killed he decided to seek revenge on her killer.

Since the Liars gave A.D. evidence pointing to Alison as Charlotte’s killer, Elliott has been using his power as a physician to keep Alison drugged up and restrained inside a mental hospital. But Alison was able to escape last week when Elliott sneakily removed her from the facility. Episode 3 of Season 7 ended with Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer accidentally striking Elliott with their car — killing him instantly.

Elliott’s death means that “he” is not the one after Alison in the five-year time jump scene from Season 6B. So, who is? Bustle speculated earlier this year that Elliott and Wren (Julian Morris), Melissa’s (Torrey DeVitto) British ex, might be related.

“I know a lot of people have long suspected that Wren is part of this bigger mystery,” Collins told Bustle. “If he is then great and if Elliott is somehow in cahoots with him to play out evil deeds then I think all the better. I think it would be a wonderful part of the story.”

Elliott and Wren do have a lot in common — they’re both British and doctors. What we do know is that Wren and Melissa got back together when Melissa moved to London. However, Hanna found out on one of her business trips that Wren ended things with Melissa after receiving a phone call from Charlotte (Vanessa Ray). Fans never found out what Charlotte told Wren, but it’s also important to note that Melissa was originally a suspect in Charlotte’s murder. Spencer discovered that her sister’s luggage was broken — and the missing piece fit the description of the weapon used to kill Charlotte.
