Prince Harry Avoids ‘Embarrassing’ Run-Ins With Exes Camilla Thurlow, Ellie Goulding

Prince Harry avoided an embarrassing situation with his exes, Camilla Thurlow and Ellie Goulding, during his recent engagement with Prince Charles and Prince William.

On Thursday, the Duke of Sussex joined the Prince of Wales and Duke of Cambridge and attended the premiere of David Attenborough’s new Netflix documentary, “Our Planet.” During the engagement, two of Prince Harry’s exes, Camilla Thurlow and Ellie Goulding, were also present.

According to The Sun editor Dan Wootton, the organizers had to “hastily rearrange” the seating plan and switch Prince Charles to Thurlow’s seat. Initially, they didn’t know that there was a romantic history between Prince Harry and Thurlow.

The Duke of Sussex and the “Love Island” star dated five years before he met Meghan Markle. A source said that the organizers made last-minute changes in the seating plan as “it would have been extremely embarrassing for them to bring Harry along and sit him right next to his ex.” The insider added that Prince Harry’s advisers would be furious if he would be put in that position.

Aside from Thurlow, Prince Harry’s other ex, Goulding, was also present during the screening. However, the singer didn’t stick around and made a quick exit before there was a chance of them bumping into each other.

In related news, according to royal expert Katie Nicholl, Prince Harry had already “severed ties” with his two other exes, Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas. The author of “Harry: Life, Loss, and Love” stressed that the soon-to-be dad has “very little to do” with Davy and Bonas after marrying Markle. The two ladies also knew that they wouldn’t be seeing much of Prince Harry.

Aside from cutting ties with his exes, Nicholl addressed the rumors that he has been avoiding his close pals too. The royal expert said that it’s possible that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have trimmed down their circle of friends.

“It's very likely that there was a cutting down, an editing of Harry's friends and also of Meghan’s,” Nicholl said.

Just recently, there were claims that Prince Harry had “frozen out“ his childhood best friend, Tom “Skippy” Inskip. The royal reportedly didn’t like Inskip’s disapproval of him marrying Markle.
