Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s Heartbreaking Reason For Leaving UK, Canada, Moving To LA Revealed

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a heartbreaking reason for leaving the UK and Canada and moving to Los Angeles.

In January, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they were stepping back as senior members of the royal family. Following the bombshell announcement, Markle flew to Vancouver to reunite with her son, Archie. Prince Harry stayed for a couple of more days and flew to be with his wife and child.

A few weeks back, the royal couple returned to the UK to join Queen Elizabeth II and the other royals for the Commonwealth Day Service. Markle immediately returned to Canada after the event. Prince Harry followed after a few days and just in time before Prime Minister Justin Trudeau closed its borders.

However, according to a recent report, they have already left Canada and are currently in Los Angeles. The move was not surprising because an insider close to Markle said that they were looking for a home in the area. Royal photographer Arthur Edwards explained why the Sussexes had to leave the UK and Canada and opt to settle in Los Angeles.

“They tried palace life in Britain but it didn’t work out. So they have switched from Harry’s home town to Meghan’s,” he explained. “In a way it’s exchanging one goldfish bowl for another but it’s a city where Meghan has deep personal and professional connections. In LA they’ll be close to Meghan’s mum Doria - her only family member at her wedding to Harry - who will love having Archie so close.”

Markle called LA her home as she grew up there. Her dad Thomas Markle Sr. worked there as a lighting director.

Meanwhile, a source said that Prince Harry and Markle’s move to California was planned. They reportedly decided to stay there because they have a huge support system there.

“This move was planned for some time. They realised Canada would not work out for various reasons and they want to be based in the Los Angeles area,” a source said.

“They have a big support network there. It’s where their new team of Hollywood agents and PRs and business managers are based. Meghan has lots of friends there and, of course, her mum Doria.”

Meanwhile, Markle’s half-brother Thomas Markle Jr. said that she will return to Hollywood. He added that the duchess wants to be in the spotlight all the time.
