Prince Harry Won Over Meghan Markle By Doing This Sweet Gesture
Prince Harry managed to win over Meghan Markle’s heart almost instantly after he employed a sweet gesture that the Duchess of Sussex appreciated.
In the book “Harry: Life, Loss, and Love,” author Katie Nicholl said that when Markle and Prince Harry were still hiding their romance from the public, they sought the help of Jessica Mulroney so that they could meet privately in Canada.
During one of his visits to the Mulroney household, the Duke of Sussex arrived with a handful of gifts for everyone, including Markle and Mulroney’s three young children. Upon seeing Prince Harry’s effort to win the hearts of her friend and her friend’s family, Markle immediately fell in love with the Duke of Sussex.
“He was brilliant with them and I think what swung it for Meghan was how good Harry was with them. I actually think that might have been the moment Meghan really fell for Harry… He got to know the Mulroneys quite well, and they liked Harry from the beginning,” Nicholl wrote.
Meanwhile, the royal author also said that even before Prince Harry dated Markle, the Mulroneys already had an idea who the Prince was because of the late Princess Diana.
“Harry was fascinated when Ben, the son of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, recounted lively stories of how Princess Diana once stayed with his family during an official tour of Canada, and, finding herself bored with talking politics, had ventured up to the nursery to play with Ben and his three siblings,” Nicholl wrote.
But even though Prince Harry and Markle seem to still be madly in love with each other, there are rumors suggesting that their marriage won’t last. Anna Pasternak, a royal expert, told Yahoo’s “The Royal Box” that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s relationship will become increasingly difficult in the coming months.
Pasternak wants Markle to realize that she cannot be a part of the royal family while still maintaining her life as a former A-list Hollywood star.
