Prince William, Harry, Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle Reunion Set At Charles’ Investiture
Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to reunite for the first time this year.
On March 5, the royal family will gather for a morning reception at Buckingham Palace. Queen Elizabeth II is hosting the event to mark the forthcoming 50th anniversary of Prince Charles’ investiture. He was formally made the Prince of Wales on July 1, 1969, People reported.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Camilla Parker Bowles and Princess Anne are all expected to attend the event. A number were wondering if the event will include tiaras, but the publication noted that there will be formal wear but no tiaras.
“This special reception will mark the Prince of Wales’s fifty years of service to Wales, the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth, and will be an opportunity to celebrate a range of Welsh charities, organisations and businesses,” the Buckingham Palace announced.
The upcoming event will be Prince William, Prince Harry, Middleton and Markle’s first engagement together in 2019. Last year, the fab four made their first official engagement at the Royal Foundation Forum on Feb. 28.
However, the four royals are reportedly skipping the event this year. The forum was supposed to be an annual event, but there will be no repeat appearance from the group this time.
Prince William, Middleton, Prince Harry and Markle reportedly attended separate private meetings with Lorraine Heggessey, CEO of the Royal Foundation. The palace has also confirmed that the couple will meet the charity at alternate board meetings.
Prince William, Middleton, Prince Harry and Markle were rumored to be feuding. Sources claimed that the two duchesses couldn’t get along well and this could have triggered the royal princes’ falling-out.
However, other insiders insisted that Middleton and Markle haven no issues and stressed that the tension was between Prince William and Prince Harry. The Duke of Sussex was reportedly mad when his big brother questioned his romance with Markle. He felt that the Duke of Cambridge was destroying his relationship with the former “Suits” star before it even began.
The fab four was last seen together at the royals’ traditional Christmas morning service. Middleton and Markle were photographed smiling and chatting as they walked their way to church. On the other hand, Prince William and Prince Harry looked distant and ill at ease.
